Students will be placed into groups of 2-3 and will choose one of the following topics:

· Impact of Airbnb on hotels

· Trends in new concept hotels

· Impact of technology on hotels and driving customer loyalty

· How hotels can attract and keep loyal millennials

· Impact of OTA’s on hotels

· Hotel strategies for marketing to Chinese guests

The following structured as follows:

• Introduction to the topic, what the paper will cover and why it is an important topic

• Description of research on the topic, a wide variety of sources should be used and should be current – not over five years old. Only those sources cited in the paper should be listed in the references. Use headings in the paper to organize the information flow.

• Examples of practices currently in use in the industry.

• Recommendations or suggestions for the future – specific actions that a hotel manager could take to improve operations.

The paper will have a minimum of 6 references and use APA formatting. The approximate length should be 6-8 pages double spaced(2000 words) using 10-point font. This does not include title page, or references or appendices.
