1. Write a Business Plan about your business venture beginning with a good Business name AND STRAP LINE ( the one liner that says what you do…WHAT IS SPECIAL ABOUT YOUR PRODUCT/SERVICE)
2. Include Individual Peer Assessments in envelope attached to plan

‘If we are going to take part in an activity..any activity, whether a party, a game of football, tennis, rugby, a wedding etc… we need a plan!’
Businesses are just the same. They need a Business Plan
• It is simply a written document to convince/persuade others, that you are organized and have considered a number of issues to ensure you will be successful
Using this guide and information on Business Plans given below (and any other independent research), outline your business idea as if you were really writing it to an investor in order to persuade them your idea will work!

Each student MUST complete a Peer Assessment
PURPOSE of Peer Group Assessment…..
To ensure fairness in evaluating individual contributions in group work. It is not ‘telling tales’! It is a confidential, mature evaluation of another’s contribution

• Hand Peer Assessments in separately. This is a confidential document.
• BE SURE TO PUT YOUR BUSINESS NAME ON THE FRONT OF YOUR PEER ASSESSMENT so that we can match them easily with your group Business Plan
BUSINESS PLAN FORMAT
• Approx. 2,500 words (+/- 10% ) excluding appendices, front cover, contents page
• One Business Plan per group
• Report Style
• Double Spaced, Font 12 Ariel
• TIPS are in this Guide ( set out in the same order as your criteria sheet): Follow this order
• Attach the criteria sheet to your work
• There are many different ways to write Business Plans, all of which may be correct, but for the purposes of this assignment & consistency, follow the order as set out for you
The Business Plan should answer the following questions.……
-WHAT – business are we in
-WHO – will buy it
-WHY – will it be successful
-WHEN – will it all happen
-WHERE- will it be based
-HOW – will it become a reality
The Criteria sheet will be on Blackboard as well, and is in this Guide
PLEASE NOTE:
• You will LOSE 5% if you do not include peer assessments
• You will LOSE 5% if you do not include the criteria sheet
