INTERNAL PROPOSAL
You may address the proposal to a supervisor, to personnel, or to a particular department. Some ideas include: a policy change, a shift/scheduling change, a uniform change, the addition of an amenity (water fountain, snack machine) in the (lounge, the health club where you work out, a recreational area). Perhaps we can build a new animal shelter in the parish, or a recreation facility (these would be external). The textbook suggests the following items in the proposal’s structure; depending on your particular proposal, you may not need some of these; modify as needed:

Refer to the textbook as needed. You may choose to write your proposal in an essay format without separate headings,. You may do this as long as you remember to include the items. Remember also that your proposal should be persuasive. Feel free to “fudge” the budget, or stretch your qualifications!
