The topic chosen, ethical considerations in workplace socialization has a numerous amount of policies and procedures that must be implemented in businesses. The definition of ethics can be described as a system of moral values that can distinguish rules for behavior. Another definition of ethics can be what is either good or bad for the individual, a group of people, and the society we live in. In the criminal justice system, we have distinctive rules of behavior that guide law enforcement, courts, and corrections.
The administration takes on the responsibility of the ethical implications that are involved in the socialization process. Workplaces rely on management to have structure and the ability to develop moral values for the employees. Employees deal with decision-making throughout their duties while doing so they must follow the principles. The decision making should have reasoning behind it to conduct yourself properly.
Principles of the criminal justice include equal treatment for everyone and to have respect and integrity for all within the workplace. Everyone in a work setting should have ethical standards that they abide by if not it can lead to a toxic workplace environment. Research Questions to be answered, this is just a guide. You can come up with your own questions. 1.What are ethical dilemmas that may be encountered in the criminal justice organization? 2. Are principles of ethics practiced equally toward all individuals?
This is based on a conventional approach to college graduate-level research and graduate writing. It is expected that the student paper is written at a graduate-level proficiency and MUST comply with paper requirements and American Psychological Association Publication Manual (APA), Seventh Edition-student version guidelines (no exceptions). Note: papers that do not meet this expectation and adhere to course requirements and complete APA guidelines will be given a lower grade! REQUIREMENTS: • 15-18 pages (paper body), plus title, abstract, and reference pages • Includes 1) title page; 2) abstract; 3) body; and 4) reference page(s) • Typewritten • Double-spaced lines throughout (See APA) • Use default page margin and layout format available in MS WORD (1” margins) 12-point type, New Times Roman font, non-bold • Usage of APA style format and referencing (See APA resources)
• Sufficient references and sources to support the topic and text of the paper (a minimum of 10 academic sources) • Adherence to conventional rules of proper writing and mechanics, e.g., grammar, noun/verb agreement, correct spelling, sentence structure, syntax, etc. • Numbered pages (upper right) • Appropriately structured reference page (See APA) • References cited in the body of the paper must include publication author and year (i.e., Jones, 2001) (quotations must include page number) • Recent (< 5 years) peer-reviewed academic journal articles should be the primary reference source.
However, prominent scholarly books can be used depending on the topic. Conversely, newspapers, trade magazines, popular magazines, newsletters, personal interviews, or bulletins should NOT be used as references. The assigned textbook in the course should only be used as a resource and not a reference for the paper.
