The analysis will first briefly summarize the position laid out in the reading, and then provide a brief critique of the arguments offered, noting their relative strengths or weaknesses.</p> <p>Analyze the argument presented in the short documentary, 180.</p> <p>You do not need to watch anything past 23:55 (i.e., just watch the first 24 minutes).</p> <p>Please note the following:</p> <p>First, the documentary deals with abortion and the Holocaust. At a few points it uses graphic and disturbing imagery.<br /> Feel free to listen rather than watch the video, if you would prefer not to see the images.</p> <p>Further the narrator draws a comparison between the modern American toleration of abortion and acceptance of or complacence with Hitler and the Holocaust, among Germans at the time of WWII.<br /> Therefore, if you feel that this documentary would be too difficult to listen to, you may ask for an alternate assignment.</p> <p>Finally, note that by assigning this video, I’m not necessarily endorsing its views. The documentary is a piece of propaganda, it is an emotionally charged treatment of a controversial topic.
