Project 2 : News Reporter Critique

Instructions :

– You will choose a television reporter working in the Mid-Michigan television viewing area to follow. You watch this reporter at least three times before writing the paper. You will use your notes from this class and analyze what the reporter is doing well and what the reporter may not be doing well. Discuss each story in detail, so take notes while watching the reporter during the newscast.

The paper will look like this when completed: ( Be sure to cover each )

3- The station

4- When you watched

Reporter Critique :

1- For each report (3 reports) 1-2 pages

2- Rules followed

3- Rules broken

5- grad students you will add two pages on the reporter’s web presence

Conclusion

1- How closely has what you found in the classroom to be true in the real world?

2- What suggestions would you have for the reporter in the future

NOTE :

1- Total pages should be seven pages without cover page. APA style .

2- Make sure that the reporter that you going to critique should be from mid Michigan news stations.
