During the semester, each student is expected to complete an individual research literature review related to his/her team project. For the midterm, this should consist of a discussion of (at least) five academic references (refereed journal papers, textbooks, or other authoritative sources) that you think provide relevant background for some aspect of your project. These need to be scholarly references: not general interest web sites, not popular media sources).They can be related to the domain you are researching (e.g., wire manufacturing for aerospace electronics applications) or the methodology you are using (survey methods). Please submit a first draft of this literature review as described in the attached handout. You will need to discuss at least FIVE references in this draft. The final literature review at the end of the semester should present at least TEN references which are appropriately discussed in your review document.
My senior design project is about doing a project for Lectromec Company (Wire Analysis and Degradation Projection company), we need to create a report based on performance of wires. We will get wires from different manufacturers and test them under different conditions and environments, to then create a rating report to be sold to aerospace companies. To create our testing design (which wires to test and under which conditions) we created a survey and sent it out to the customers (stakeholders found on presentation) to see what wires and testings they need to know about so we can decide on what to test.
