- Business-User-System (B-U-S) alignment contains three elements: Business strategy, User/usability issues, Systems and technologies. Business strategy itself encompasses a wide range of activities, including an industry analysis, SWOT analysis, etc. User/usability issues include collaborative involvement in analysis and design, increasing buy-in during implementation, etc. Systems and technology issues include implementation tactics (e.g., pilot testing), vendor selection, etc. The 750-word maximum covers parts A and B together.

For each of the following five elements, compare and contrast the cases we have discussed (A Blogger in their Midst, Netflix, Zara, TJX, iPremier, CareGroup), one case illustrating the element in a positive way, the other case illustrating the element in a negative way. Use each of the six cases at least once.
