In many developing countries, diseases from inadequate water supply and water contamination are a major cause of morbidity and mortality. In developed countries, waterways are increasing polluted as a result of human and industrial development. As a public health professional you are hired by an international organization to investigate water quality and water quantity issues, which will assist the organization in developing an action plan agenda.

Write a 2-3 page paper in which you do the following:

1) Describe how water quality is linked to public health in general.

2) Compare the concerns regarding water quality and water quantity in the United States with concerns in a developing country, such as Nigeria.

3) Illustrate your paper with a examples of water quality and water quantity issues in Nigeria and the United States.
