The length of the literature review outline may vary depending on the topic, but it should provide sufficient detail to be at least two pages in length. Remember to include citations for at least eight peer-reviewed scholarly sources used in the concept map for this assignment. Provide sufficient detail for a reader to easily discern the overall ideas the literature review will present. The literature review outline should be structured around ideas/concepts/topics/themes, not a serial presentation of each source. The approach should involve a synthesis of the information from several sources. A conceptual/theoretical framework provides the concepts or theories underlying or supporting the basis for a study; it establishes the lens of how a study will be viewed as well as establishes the parameters to keep a study focused within a given direction. A theoretical framework is a conceptual model of how one theorizes or makes logical sense of the relationships among several factors identified as important supporting the need for a study. For example, when researching a potential topic involving inquiry-based applied learning, the constructivist theory of learning could be used as the theoretical component or combined with others to establish and support the basis and framework of the study.
