Mission, Vision, and Strategy

As part of the final project for this course, you will include a healthcare organization’s mission and vision. As discussed in the unit lesson, the organizations’ business and corporate strategy are connected by the defined mission, vision, and values. Include the following in the assignment for this unit: 1. Provide two examples of healthcare mission statements (provide reference and name of organization), and draft your own statement for the organization you are leading as the quality executive. 2. Provide two examples of healthcare vision statements (provide reference and name of organization), and draft your own statement for the organization you are leading as the quality executive. 3. Discuss how you will use your drafted statements to set the tone for your business and corporate strategy (i.e., as you are working to create an accountable care organization [ACO] for your company, how will your business and corporate strategy be used?). Identify any risks to success. The assignment should be a minimum of two pages in length. Your paper should include a title page and a reference page, which do not count toward the two-page count requirement. Be sure to use APA formatting. You must use a minimum of three external sources.
