Using the outline from the chapters of the text you will do a thorough strategic analysis of any selected company of your choice in any industry operating in UAE (for
example company from service industry such as any banks, company from hospitality industry such as hotels/restaurants or airline, companies from consumer electronics
such as Samsung, LG, Phillips . Please see the details of grading rubric to cover the topics in your project.
2. Your Report must cover the following sections:
The five main sections of the analysis will be as follows:
1. Mission and Objectives
a. What is the current mission and objectives of the organization? (If you can’t find any information you should develop one that you think is appropriate)
b. Organization Strategies: Describe the current strategies they are using in management, marketing, finance, accounting, R&D, CIS. Make sure you use good examples.
a. Conduct an external and internal audit of the company including Ethics audit of the firm
3. Strategy formulation
a. Formulate an appropriate strategy, which should be based on rigorous quantitative and qualitative analysis
4. Strategy implementation
a. Develop a detailed action plan for strategy implementation covering all functional areas of the company
5. Strategy evaluation
a. Evaluate the future external and internal environment and potential challenges that the organization might encounter.
