Thesis Statement

Addiction to the internet disrupts a person’s normal day-to-day activities and puts a strain on their personal and professional lives. An online addiction or internet compulsiveness is also known as an internet reliance. It is easier for some internet users to converse with their online friends than with their real-life counterparts. Using the internet excessively may have a harmful impact on both children and adults. Students’ attention spans have shortened, according to teachers, and they often fall asleep in class. Due to their excessive internet usage, many students have seen their grades slip as a result of their inability to focus on their studies. People of all ages are susceptible to internet addiction, from high school students to professionals in the workforce.

Al, an effort to fill a vacuum in the literature on active collaborative learning and engagement and its impact on student learning performance in Malaysia was made in this study.. 723 Malaysian research students were asked to fill out a questionnaire based on Constructivism Theory and the Technology Acceptance Model, which was then analyzed. For both male and female students, contentment with social media for collaborative learning was linked to improved academic performance, although female students were less happy with the perceived ease of use and utility of social media for learning. Using social media to facilitate collaborative learning and participation enhances the educational experience, according to the research.
