In the recent world there has been a sudden drastic change in the development of the youth’s generation. This mainly because of the civilization that is currently overlapping the entire world. The youths are exposed to a lot of materials and more advanced technology that makes them to be even more knowledgeable that their parents. This change in the making of the youths and the characters can be well explained by the various theories that have been simplified so as to be easily understood by the young growing generations. Some of the theories vividly elaborate the different ways the development of the youth’s generation has taken shape. Although the theories might have been discovered several years or century back, the theories are still vital for illustrating the life development of the youths in the recent world. Modern technology and civilization are the major aspects that are discussed in the various notions to explore how the latest generation is affecting the youths (Papaneck, 94).
Most of the theories explain logically how the developing factors have influenced the entire world in terms of technology and civilization. Most of the notions also suggest that the change in the generation does not affect the youths only but the entire society. For this reasons, this has made several philosophers to converge their minds and create more ideas that try to expand on the available notions that explain the development especially those that concentrate on exploring the development and change in the life of the youths.
Some of the key theories that are used to explore the teen generation in terms of the changes in character and development include; the interactional theory, Marxist theory and the Erikson’s stages of psychosocial notion of development.
The interactional theory illustrates that the change in the development of the youths is not a single day activity and that it has not taken a single night to develop but has developed slowly and gradually until to the recent state. The theory also suggests that the development and change in the teen generation is mainly caused by the effect of the media. According to the theory, when a child grows when he is young, he does not have an idea of what is good from bad. But because of the influence and exposure of the teens to the media, they tend to adopt some of the observable characters and behavioral that they observe on the media. According to the research which was conducted by the youths development and management group, the statistical research was analyzed and the results shows that ninety seven percent (97%) of the American youths indulge themselves in watching the television or play computer games daily and three fourths of these teens watch the television or play the computer games with other youths (Smetana 141).
Therefore, a large number of the youths are closely associated with the media not to mention the numerous numbers of the teens that spend almost their whole day browsing and watching of movies over the internet. The theory also mentions that the worse blow that has affected the entire society of the entire universe is the introduction of the cell phones and the internet. Basing on the facts that are reveled by the theory, it is then true to conclude that the entire human race is affected by the media since the youths try their level best to emulate the characters of the actors and people who they watch. The theory also suggests that the media also expose the youths to harmful materials such as pornographic material at a very tender age. This makes teens to get involved in sexual intercourse at a very tender age. This aspect has reduced the essence of marriage in the life of both the youths and the adults of America. Since the youths are exposed to earl sexual intercourse activities, they seem to have a negative impact to the issue of marriage since they find no meaningful reason why they should get married. Therefore, basing on the facts that are provided from this theory, it is then true to conclude that the media has got harmful impact to the entire generation of the youths. This risks the future generation because the current youths will be the fathers and mothers of the future generation and if at all their behavioral trait is immoral, then the entire human population is at risk. More care should then be implicated when handling the youths and parental guide should be given to the youths every time (Papaneck, 134).
The interactional theory also suggests that the youth development and generation is frequently interfered with or affected by the pier pressure the teens get from friends. Since the teens spend most of their time mostly than their parents and teachers, the youths tend to emulate the character traits of their friends. Some are even forced to adapt to some harmful characters or else they are abandoned to perform other specific functions on their own, alone. This forces the youths to acquire the characters of the other friends in order to suit into the group. This makes the teens to acquire more harmful character thus resulting into more harmful characters in the teens. The recent teen’s generation character must be studied and the government should try its level best to reduce the incidents that influence the risks and the harm that the youths are undergoing recently. The government should also give out measure to protect the youths from harmful activities in the society. The media and the internet influence should also be regulated especially when it comes to the age limit of the customers that access some given sites and web pages.

The second theory that is used to explain the generation of the youths is the Marxist theory. The Marxist notion just like the interactional theory suggests that the youth development cycle is caused by various factors some of which are internal in the life of the youth or external which is because of the external factors such as the media and pier pressure from friends. However the Marxist theory differs with the interactional notion in the sense that it discusses the teen’s generation development basing on the class and the class-function of the youths rather than the entire youths in general. The Marxist theory implies that the generation development of the teens is mostly based on the class that the teens are categorized into basing on the amount of money or wealth to which the youth is exposed to in his life.
Most of the American teens are exposed to more wealth that they have extra money that they lack what to do with it. Therefore, they are forced to indulge themselves into other activities like drug abuse at a very tender age. Since they have extra money than what they actually require for the daily consumption, the teens usually remain with extra funds that they use in the acquiring of extra gadget such as cell phones that when are not properly used cause harmful end results to the lives of the various teens. This is contrary to what happens to teens whose parents are not well off thus lack the available and extra money that this category of teens can spend. The theory of Marxist also suggests that the teens that have spend their entire lives in the most cities and towns are more immoral than those found in rural areas (Papaneck, 159). This is mainly because these teens are exposed to double the amount of risks than the other category of youths who stay in the rural areas. Most of the youths who live in the rural areas are poor thus they cannot afford the money to get access of the internet.
This is also true because in most of the rural areas there is no network thus the teens will not be able to access the net. Basing on the facts from the discussion of the Marxist theory, it is then true to suggest that the teen’s generation is affected by the wealth and the class that the teen is categorized into basing on the amount of funds that the youth contains.

Development of your design project for teen generation
A development design project is a structure that is used to give more details on the life cycle of the particular aspect that is being discussed. The structure is usually written in logic and strategically manner to make sure that all the necessary and essential detail concerning the design project is correctly elaborated (Gray 151). For the purpose of this paper, I will discuss the various aspects that are involved in the development design project for the youths. The developing project that I will use will discuss the eight logical stages through which a normal and healthy teen is supposed to pass through before the he or she gains the maturity status. In every single step in my developing scheme for the project for the teen youth’s generation each of the stage involves few strategies that must be well accomplished before the youth can graduate into the next level. If by chance a teen develops to the next stage without successfully accomplishing the required accomplishment, the challenges are expected to appear in a later stage in the life cycle before the youth is able to attain maturity.
A design project for the teen’s generation
The current behavioral traits and the way of life of the teens in general and how they operating tend to make immature and deceiving decisions is the key reason to why this design project was compiled. Its main aim is to give proper guidance and sober judgment to all the youths all over the world. Basing on the fact that the most crucial ages of the human life is between the years of thirteen and twenty years, it is thus very crucial and essential move to assist the youths in making proper and sober judgment which makes them to be more intelligent and conscious in making decisions. This is also to help out the youths in proper decision making. There are several measures that can be included in the design project of the youths. Some of the measures that I will include in my design project include; proper education, frequent advice from responsible adults, proper management of the capital and the resources that the youths have and proper time management (Papaneck, 187).
Education to enlighten the teenagers
The acquiring of information is the most vital step that any individual can take in his or her life since the more an individual is well updated to with recent facts is the more he or she becomes more knowledgeable that other people who never get access to the same knowledge. The knowledge is then what will enable the person to have wisdom thus being able to make proper judgment. This is exactly what the teens of the recent times need to be able to withstand the confusing moments from several sources or even individuals. This is only possible if the youths will be able to attend regular educational institutes and be guided on the various ways they can overcome the challenges that they are yet to face. Therefore, the parents and the guardians of the teens should make sure that their children, teens are accessed to institutions which will help enlighten the youths. Education also reduces the amount of ignorance that a person can acquire thus making it possible for the youths to be able to make proper and sober judgment especially in crucial deciding situation (Wright 193).
Advice from reliable sources to the teenagers
The second aspect that will be considered in my construction of the design for the youths design teen’s generation is the frequent and proper advice to the teens from mature and responsible adults. The teens of current times are majorly affected with the pier pressure from friends and the lack of proper guidance concerning the daily life of the respective lives of the youths. However, this can be reduced by the older and much more adults who have experience in life giving proper guidance to the teenagers. Guidance can also be offered by the teachers in school since they are the ones that spend most of their time with the teenagers. This also gives them an extra advantage of knowing the characters of the youths better than their parents.
Control of money and readily available resources
In my development of the design projects for the teenager’s I also included the aspect of the youths being able to control the amount of money that have or if they will at all be unable to the money by their own, they should get assistance from mature and responsible adults. Excessive amount of money is also a factor that will make the youths of recent times to change the manner in which they do behave (Jernks & Dempsey 159) When the youths have just enough of money that they require for their daily use their will lack extra funds that they youths will need for extra of their activities such as buying extra gadgets such as cell phones and alcohols. These are the major factors that makes to youths to be more violent and behave wrongly in the society.
Time management
Time management is also another aspect that really concerns the immediate life of the youths that should be closely observed by the entire society. For this reasons and the purpose of the design I constructed concerning the teenagers, I include time management since it is also a major aspect that the youths are affected with in their daily life. The youths should always be taught how to be able to manage their time from a very tender age (Smetana 165). This helps the teenagers to be able to continue doing the same for a very long period of time. This makes the youths to be more responsible in managing their time. Most of the youths waste time in indulging into activities that are harmful and affect their life such as visiting of pornographically structured sites in the cyber café. Basing on the fact that the youth’s characteristic traits changes with the technology and civilization, it is appropriate to use the various measures that are discussed in the generation project. The if the corrective measured are adhered to by any give youth who sincerely wants to change
Thoughts on what will happen to design in the future.
The development design that I have developed on a project for the teen’s generation might have several reforms and appropriate thought in the future development of the youths. This is mainly because more advanced technology will have been introduced and the usually life style of the youths will have changed because of the introduction of new ideas (Riegel & Meacham 183). Therefore, new thoughts can be added to the structure of the design for the teen’s generation. For example more advanced ways of communication will have been introduced apart from the cell phones and the use of the internet. Because more advanced and appropriate technology are being discovered daily, it means that more recent and technology will be introduced thus increasing more threats and risks to the teenagers. This means that new measure must be developed to withstand the new challenges that would have been discovered by that time.
