Problem of statement/ abstract

The value of integrated environmental management systems and quality health and safety systems is accompanied with long-term benefits to the society and the world at large. This is a secrete which has remains hidden until recently when some scholars carried studies into environmental management systems integration with other community issues like quality health and safety(Stares, 1997).. Integration over the last one year has been argued to have promoted a more sustainable environmental development. Although the studies have proved that integration of environmental management systems and quality health and safety systems promote sustainable development, implementation of these facts has not been met (Stares, 1997).. The implementation has not been met because of some associated factors like background experience of the implementation team members, the input from quality and health and safety team members to the implementation process, communication among implementation members and the level of influence exerted over relatively a large number of contractors (UKOOA 1993). From this review a good number of conclusions were derived which emphasize on the need for clarity over plans of action on areas with ambiguity and strong communication lines between persons. This proposal is a draft of an attempt to carry out a study of the impacts that the integration of environmental management systems and quality and health safety systems shall bring to Aberdeenshire community/ society.

Introduction

Environmental management systems integration with quality and health safety systems is a crucial step towards achieving a sustained development and a health nation. Abedeernshire community must be protected against environmental pollution by major manufacturing industries and the ignorance of the local citizen’s actions of deforestation for charcoal burning and poor waste disposal systems. Waste disposal and clean-up of spillage must be adhered to if the society is going to remain environmentally sustainable and health (Stares, 1997). The Abardeenshire environmental issues address can be initiated through development of a formal environmental management system which is aligned to specific recognized standard and integrating it with other issues like health and human safety. By studying the impact of integrating environmental management systems and quality health and safety systems Abardeenshire will improve on the issues that impact on their surrounding negatively and devise an appropriate ways of benefiting from management integration of systems (Stares, 1997).

Objectives of the study

To study the impact of integration of environmental management systems with quality health and safety systems in abaerdeenshire

Methodology

Research shall be conducted using both primary and secondary research strategies of correcting data. Primary research is a research strategy of collecting raw information from identified test group. Data is collected from scratch. Questionnaire and interviews shall be used as major tools that shall help in data collection from the Abardeenshire community members, government officials environmentalists etc. primary research is time consuming bur very accurate. Secondary research strategy involves the usage of already published literature to help in gathering information and comparing it to arrive at reasonable conclusions. Most of secondary data shall be used to make the literature review of the main research paper.

Data collected shall be sampled and analyzed so that important conclusions shall be derived for implementation for improvement.

Limitations

Every research study has its own limitations. The main limitation in this research is lack of enough experts of collecting data

Another limitation is lack of enough time e to conduct the research intensively s as to arrive at more real and practical conclusions.
