Part 1 (Topic)

Each student paper should be in reference to the COVID-19 pandemic we are experiencing. This could be a topic ranging from the COVID-19 disease process to how it has impacted nurses etc., as long as it deals with COVID-19. However, it is important you choose a topic that will give you at least 10 scholarly references.

The first submission will include: the title page (which is why you need your title), an introduction, and a reference page all in APA. You should not cite all 10 articles in your introduction, but I would like to see your references in order to see what direction you are going in, that you are utilizing acceptable articles and, of course, that you are citing correctly.

Part 1 will be graded according to the following rubric:  Research Project Paper Part 1 Rubric Research Project Paper Part 1 Rubric – Alternative Formats

As you can see from the rubric, you should state the variables, sample size, data collection/study procedures, and the strengths and weaknesses of articles.

The summarization of the knowledge gained from these articles should be discussed along with the implications for nursing practice. Add this part to your first submission’s text, however, your corrections for part 1 will not be reviewed until the finalized paper is turn in.
