Sociology is an essential discipline in human’s life that deals with the study of the functioning, structure, and development of human society. It is also significant in determining the social problems and also coming up with practical solutions. Having a sociological imagination is dynamic as it enables one to relate the individual experiences to the occurrences in the society. One cannot talk about sociology leaving social interaction besides as it is central to person’s everyday social life. Biography, history and social structure are among the primary features regarding sociological thoughts. In life, all my experiences have to a point or another been correlated to sociological imagination. It plays a significant role in enabling one relate the personal life involvements with the historical and structural facts. In this paper, the sociological factors that have affected the choices and changes in personal life and the effects they indulge are elaborated into a profound extent. The encounters in personal life will be used as life case examples to illustrate the impacts influenced by sociology appropriately.

In consideration of the life encounters both in various learning institutions and in the community at significant the common sociological factors that dramatically impact many peoples lives are socialization, class, and gender. These factors also play a significant role in facilitating sociological imagination that enables one on to correctly understand the correlation between the social, political and economic forces. Social structure simplifies the organization of the society giving a good look on its inhabitants, on how they are interconnected to each other and how they change over time regarding evolution and technology advancement. However, in understanding the society an individual has to have self-realization that comes through sociological imagination. It has been a great experience that socialization is the key to one’s success in either the social, economic or political field. Therefore, sociology is vital in every day’s life and has to be applied appropriately.

Individual experiences enhance fruitful results and the expectations in the history and society today. Stimulating social mindfulness is crucial as it facilitates reasonable efforts by individuals towards practicing constructive things regarding the individual experiences. They dramatically influence the way doing things and in many instances inspires inquisitiveness to know more, enhances care and optimism to the society. As mentioned above, socialization is crucial in one’s life in enhancing well-being and development. Socialization can be referred to as an act of interacting with others and as a process of learning how to grow morally upright in a manner that is acceptable to the society. With this acceptance one can move a step- forward not only in social life but also economically as well as politically.

For instance, there is a case study of the life during the summer holidays as I was involved in running a family business. The fact remains that with excellent socialization a significant number of customers are getting, and this is proportional to the profit margins that are made by the business. At the start of the venture, only a few consumers or even no at a day would come to buy the goods, and the profit margins were minimal. However, as time ran I was able to socialize with many people who came to purchase goods, and in the process, they could refer their friends and relatives to the entity, and the circle ended up becoming magnificently big hence high profits. The secret behind proper socialization is having etiquette among other moral, upright behaviors when approaching the customers.

The other case regards the passion of becoming an author and how it was influenced by the social mindfulness and environment. The urge of writing began right back in high school and could spend a couple of hours during the free time composing some articles and other inspiring literature. It was enjoyable especially competing with other colleagues that had the same talent and the best writer would be appreciated. It led the desire of becoming a journalist, but after the learning duration, all this urge was nowhere to be found. Instead after the high school course, I was substantially involved in business, and the only thing to think about was earning money for a living. All the time that I used to dedicate to writing was not available as there was no encouragement to do so. All this involves sociology and how socialization affects the human behaviors. The people whom one is interacting with determines a lot what ones offers to the society either socially, economically and politically. If there were anyone to support my aptitude for writing after school, I would have had all the time needed to work on it and perhaps achieving my dream amazingly.

As discussed above, sociological imagination is essential in enabling one to have a self-understanding on what is best about the individual experience to the organizational and past activities. It is through looking back on the personal experiences that I have been able to make sound decisions which are constructive to the society. The class and power in the society also take a significant role in not only an individual’s life but also in the society as a whole. Socialization is critical and sociological mindfulness is vital in innovatively enhancing critical thinking hence society development.
