Should Student Study a Foreign Language

Paper instructions:
I have written the outline and some annotated bib because the instructor asked to do it first, so you might follow the outline and the annotated bib. Of course you can change some if you wish.

Foreign Language
I.    Thesis statement – In fact, students should take the time to learn a foreign language because it could help them in high school, college, jobs, and traveling to foreign countries in the future.
II.    Introduction- The world around us is growing and changing.
A.    There are many different languages in each country.
1.    Every country has its own language.
2.    English is the common language.
B.    English is the first language in the world.
1.    Everyone must know one English song.
2.    Everyone is learning English.
III.    Body – Some benefits.
A.    Enjoy traveling.
B.    Make friends.
C.    Career opportunities.
IV.    Body -The disadvantages.
A.    Interrupts learning for some.
1.    It may waste time.
2.    There is more other important thing to do.
B.    It should be optional.
1.    Students have their own choice to choose what they want to learn.
2.    They might feel it is useless in some case.
V.    Body part -How to learn foreign language.
A.    Develop a basic vocabulary.
1.    Using flash cards.
2.    A beginner-level language software program.
B.    Begin learning common phrases in the other language.
C.    Learn the basics of grammar and sentence structure in the other language.
1.    How the words change and are arranged in the other language.
2.    The placement of a word in the sentence.
VI.    Body part – How to utilize it well.
A.    Practice your newfound speaking ability.
1.    Find someone who is interested in that language to practice with.
2.    They can interact each other.
B.    Continue building your vocabulary
1.    Begin reading newspapers or books in the other language.
2.    Watch television shows or listen to radio programs in the other language.
C.    Look for opportunities to use the other language in real life.
1.    Talk to someone who speaks that language.
2.    Imitate him/her.
VII.    The change.
A.    The people who learn foreign language might have different concept.
1.    Their ideas are more international.
2.    Their behavior and the way of doing are more modern.
B.    They have more competitors.
1.    They deal with more people.
2.    Their behave will be more creative.
