Select a system for use in this course of study and then describe it in the following ways, using the information you discovered in Week 1. In a paper, address the following: Define a business management system and how was this system developed? What are the fundamental assumptions upon which it was built If you are defining a subsystem of a larger organization, describe the interrelationships between the identified “system for analysis” and the larger system, and any other subsystems and greater systems. Describe the lifecycle of the system. Describe the context and situation without yet moving to deep analysis. Avoid the tendency to “prescribe” solutions prematurely. Indicate the boundaries of the system. Identify recognizable issues about how “the system” is defined now. Support your paper with a minimum of three (3) scholarly resources. In addition to these specified resources, other appropriate scholarly resources, including older articles, may be included. Length: 5-7 pages not including title and reference pages Your paper should demonstrate thoughtful consideration of the ideas and concepts that are presented in the course and provide new thoughts and insights relating directly to this topic.
