At Saint Leo University they have the Values Statement, which involves 6 general core values. These have been as such; Excellence, Community, Respect, Personal Development, Responsible Stewardship along with Integrity, each having the definition about what it means towards university. As having each and every core value, these have been the set of standards we strive towards live through. Those values each and every have individual definitions as well as meanings, few of that may be subjective towards most. 

Saint Leo University defines the core values along with it focuses on the integrity, community along with spirit. This school gives the higher quality education in the safer as well as nurturing culture in that individual development, capability of thinking critically along with acquisition of skills as well as experiences compulsory to excel may be realized. The student centered concentration, future oriented research, entrepreneurial leadership along with near relationships with the alumni as well as community leaders have been the important distinctive about school along with serve towards distinguish that as one of top business schools in south.

Community in right terms of word has been group of people residing in the specific domestic field. In the values statement community for me has been the sense about oneness having our surroundings along with the people included, we should trust as well as should also be trust worthy. In the sense of community we have interdependence on one another that may not be attained without trust.

One of most essential core value about Saint Leo University has been one of community. Such core value states, which Saint Leo University has formed hospitable Christian leaning communities everywhere, we serve. Saint Leo University fosters the spirit about belonging, the unity along with interdependence depending on the mutual trust along with respect for creating the socially responsible culture, which challenges all of us to listen, to learn, to alter along with for serving. Saint Leo University does not discriminate. All man along with woman has right towards study at the Saint Leo University when they choose to Saint Leo.

Principles of UN Universal Declaration about Human Rights relates to Saint Leo Universities core value about community in several ways. Let’s begin from start of declaration. In preamble this describes that peoples of UN have in Charter reaffirmed its faith within the fundamental human rights, in dignity along with worth of human person as well as in similar rights of men as well as women and also have decided for promoting the social progress and also best standards of life in bigger freedom.

The preamble describes, whereas recognition of inherent dignity and also of similar and also inalienable rights of each & every member of human family has been foundation of the freedom, the justice along with peace in world (The Universal Declaration of Human Rights). It has been the key point of “Community” in Saint Leo University core values. Saint Leo University focuses the spirit, which has been much bigger than single person. This has been the ideal about providing stability along with acceptance to everybody through proving along with environment of the mutual trust as well as respect.

It re enforces university’s mission towards that seeks balance within the growth in the mind body along with spirit for each and every members of their community, thus Saint Leo University for attaining its mission by challenge. They expect members of community to examine its lives honestly. And learning for expressing its own values, listen respectfully towards as well as respond to opinion of rest. They have also been expected towards serve “Community” in that they live, welcome rests in its lives, along with care for all of God’s creations.

Saint Leo University creates as well as values such rooted through Christian faith; but, such value have been as basic as freedoms that few may take that for granted. University focuses the requirement for go in the communities same as missionaries for the general freedoms have not been ignored and forgotten. Such ideals have worldwide important requirements, which everybody must enjoy.

No matter what the religion we worship, Saint Leo’s just intentions have been regularly giving the Christian learning community. Not each and every religious course discusses at the Saint Leo have been geared to single community.
