This is my post: The proponent of nature is known to be a nativist view. Genetics are the deciding factor in human beings about various things like the color of hair, the color of eyes, etc. Additionally, there are certain genetic things which cannot be analyzed during the birth like weight, height, stamina, resistance to diseases, etc. (“Conception, Heredity, and Environment: Many Paths”, n.d.)As per the idea of Lefrançois, there are certain things like personality attributes, behavioral tendencies and mental abilities which lead us to think if we are actually born with these traits. It is assumed that traits of human beings as a whole are the product of evolution, and each and every person is different due to his or her unique genetic code.Some theorists believes that the traits which are not visible at birth are the result of our learning, this is because they occur at later stages of our life. But, this is not correct. The best example is adolescence, which develops with age but not learned. A child characteristic is giving on the bases of the nurture they received by a love one. In addition, a parent that shows her child love and care will grow up showing the same to others.It is certain that a child that comes from a caring background that shows love and support will more likely have a successfully future.If you continue thinking, that nature impacts a child future than you are sadly mistaken. Nature has nothing to do with a childs future. Nurture has also been extended to the influences on development arising from prenatal, parental, extended families and peer experience.
