The descriptions of each part due previously also apply to the sections of the complete paper. You assemble the final paper using the parts you have already completed and turned in. You need to incorporate the professor’s feedback, and polish and finalize the paper. The paper must be in APA style and should include the following sections:

Introduction section:

o The introduction must include (1) the ultimate, evolutionary origins of the behavior, and (2) the proximate or physiological basis of the behavior.

o This is the same as (or based on) parts 1 and 2 you turned in already, but polish it further, using the feedback from the professor.

o You may want to add a brief introductory paragraph. See the Sample Research Prospectus.

Hypothesis section (Optional):

o This is the same as (or based on) part 3 that you turned in already.

o Polish it further, using the feedback from the professor.

Methods section (Optional):

o This is the same as (or based on) part 4 that you turned in already.

o Polish it further, using the feedback from the professor.

Reference section:

o All citations in the paper should be listed in the Reference section in APA style.

o Use as many references as you need; the minimum is 14 references.

PowerPoint: The PowerPoint is due at the same time as the Word doc. The PowerPoint should present a brief summary of the research prospectus and should include:

o Title page

o Bullet points from the introduction, emphasizing ultimate and proximate causation

o Hypothesis, presented in bullet points (Optional)

o Methods section, presented in bullet points (Optional)

o Reference section (in APA style)
