Give an 8- to 10-minute interactive persuasive talk to a specific managerial audience about a relevant public policy topic. You must not only allow, but encourage, questions and comments during the presentation. However, you must finish within the time limit, so you are responsible for controlling the pace of the presentation so you can still cover your key points. The presentation can be based on material in one of your other courses, on a paper or research project you have done, or on your own experience. To encourage questions, pick a topic the class is likely to be familiar with or can easily understand. You will also submit in writing a detailed description of your situation so we can judge how well you achieved your goals. Include what you want the audience to do by the time your talk is complete.
