Reflection after teaching lesson on the following:

Objectives/ focus:  Students will be able to make simple polite requests and be in a position to answer them effectively.
1.    First reflection on my firstlesson taught.

•    In my first lesson I taught the majority of learnerswere responded that they are willing to learn more of the lesson I taught them.
•    What I did well was that I could explain English language grammar especially when I showed students the dialogue (conversation between two) on white board

through explained to students each sentence on how the grammar in English set.
•    The students at suitable English level that I felt that I could teach each lesson more and provide thorough explanation s of each lexical/vocabulary.
•    I needed to improve my voice and intonation during speaking/teaching to students and that I should speak louder in class in order to be heard and have

students’ attention.
•    The pacing of the lesson was quite good as I could control my timing by teaching short activities but the long activities I taught were difficult to control

pacing or time them.
•    When I taught learners integrated skills (reading, writing, speaking and listening) my assumption about what the class knew has improved in terms of my ability

to customise lesson plans that will meet the learners level of English language.

The feedback I received from my supervisor (teacher who observed my teaching) was positive that I had assisted students by walking around their desks helping them with

understanding their homework and with the instructions of the tasks given.
My supervisor told me that I should use the white board as too in order to point out or highlights crucial points when I am teaching also when using MS.

Word/Powerpoint slides. And the supervisor also informed me verbally that my tone when I spoke was good.

2.    Secondreflectionon my second lesson taught. Write (150 words) reflection on the following lesson:

Lesson taught:  Whether vocabulary and dialogue

Objectives/Focus: to teach student will be able to ask and understand simple sentences about the weather and be able to communicate in the community.

•    I felt confident
•    I felt during lesson that I could teach at even higher level of English of learners I taught.
•    The instructions were difficult to follow as I had to think on how to start the class rather than strait forward.
•    The class knew very little English and they (learners) don’t speak English where I had to explain to them through pictures using the Google images or handouts

with pictures.
•    I feel now that I am motivated that I could teach and improve myself after each lesson.
•    The area where I should improve was teaching too many activities keeping the same tempo that I started with.
•    I did givelearners integrated grammar lesson with reading and speaking.
•    I felt good that I could use white board and visual support such as Google/Ms.word and power point making my teaching lesson understandable and clear.
