Posture must be maintained your leg muscles must be able to propel you forward and your arms were swinging as you were walking. Additionally, consider the coordination of multiple antagonistic muscles and sensory perception as wells as auditory information regarding your environment. Within your groups discuss how proprioceptors, skeletal muscles (focus on the rectus femoris muscle), spinal cord and brain center contribute to walking. Subsequently write a rough draft of what you have discussed above which includes: joint receptors, muscle spindles, golgi tendon organs, reflex movements involved, postural reflexes, voluntary movements, rhythmic movements, physiological control centers, central pattern generators, brain stem, cerebellum, basal ganglia and any area in the cerebral cortex involved.
