Project Rough Draft: Mental Health Therapies

Mental health affects our everyday thinking, feelings, and activities. In broad, it includes emotional, psychological, and social well-being. According to Bitsko (1), mental health among teenagers and young adults has increased in the year 2022 than previous years. The study shows that one in every four young people has a mental health problem. This problem is suspected to be associated with education, physical health, unhealthy social relationships, also called “Toxic relationships, “and employment which brings life pressures.

Many young people are suffering from mental problems and dying internally by revealing their problems. Conducting awareness for mental health among teenagers and youths is necessary to save the next generation of leaders and enable mental health therapies. This paper looks forward to alerting public health experts that there are still people suffering from mental problems without their conscious, while others are aware but afraid to come out.

Research studies have shown that about 35% of children and adolescents experience mental health problems yearly. Most of the reported crimes cases are happening have been said to be caused by people under the age of 35, and after health tests; about 85% have a normal mental state (Erikangas et al. 22). Also, post Covid-19 error has seen many reported cases of young people suffering from mental health all over the world. Post-traumatic stress is one of the leading causes of mental problems. The pandemic traumatized those infected and kept their brains in unrest. The isolation from their families and friends causes unhealthy thinking, such as suicidal ideation, which messes with self-esteem and improper thinking. Young people could not handle depression and phobias when they saw news reports.

According to Belfer (230), the young have never experienced such a world pandemic. Due to anxiety and lack of life experiences, most still have mental problems affecting their well-being and well-being. Also, genes and a history of abuse have been linked to contributing to the problem. Due to the new generation’s innovation and health technology changes, I am inspired to analyze the impact of mental health, find out the 2022 causes of increased mental health cases and come up with helpful strategies for mental health therapies for young people. My proposed study will help raise mental health awareness among young people and various centers they can get mental health therapies at no cost.

While many mental health studies are carried out, there are still concerns about why the numbers are increasing each day despite so many worldwide movements fighting mental problems and coming up with mental health therapy strategies. To carry out the study smoothly, this paper will apply regression analysis to investigate variables such as gender, age, and social relationship contributing to a rise in mental health cases in 2022 and possible ways to offer more mental health therapies. The study will research the implications and the findings.

As the researcher, I will interact with various mental health experts who help enhance the therapies, which will help to seek the significance of corporate and organizational communication to appreciate the importance and discuss the benefits of mental health therapies to cut down the increasing number of criminal cases related to mental health among young people. The experts’ recommendations will be included in the appendix of the research paper with a framework.
