2. See attached pages and below instructions in order to perform a product launch as noted on pages 61-67 (Ch. 2) of Marketing Management as a sample plan.
3. Ideally the objective is to produce a product launch plan.
4. Use the in-depth marketing tool related SWOT analysis.
5. Propose a new product/service for the company. The product should be a consumer oriented product vs. something you would sell to businesses.
a. Company: Nokia
b. New product/service for the company: Add feature on cell phone which once activated will deter vicious / danger animals (i.e. dog whistle).
6. Instructions:
a. Prepare a PowerPoint presentation explaining the following (use course reading concepts in each section):
b.    Include: Introduction Page and Conclusion Page
c.    PowerPoint presentation follows (PLEASE only BLACK & WHITE slides / no more than FIVE (5) slides):
o    Market growth potential for the product
o    SWOT Analysis, be sure this is analysis and not just a list for the product
d.     PLEASE Note ? this assignment is about the new product, not the company that you selected. Also, be sure to apply research in your analysis for justifications in all sections above, not opinions.
e.    Use a minimum of one article per team member from UOP library; references should be cited on slides.
f.    Presentation Guidelines ?? Keep the format simple, use black font, white plain background. Refer to the UOP Library for examples of PowerPoint presentation samples.
g.    NOTE: product/service selected needs to be fictional and/or not previously marketed by any company. The company launching the product should exist.
