Design a Prevention Program Plan that addresses Violence among Youth (in general, which includes addressing
issues such as bullying, harassment, assault, homicide, battery, suicide, etc. on peers, educators, family
members, and others in the community) utilizing Evidence-Based research and evaluation of current Nationally
Recognized Program Plans to develop an original program plan, or an original revision of current program
plans (if effective plans (s) are in place and problem areas can be identified to demonstrate changes that
should be made to improve efficacy).
The Youth Violence Prevention Program Plan must include the ALL of the items following listed in a minimum of
10 original pages, not including references (all references must be listed in APA format, and be in addition
to the 10 pg original document), in strict APA format:
• a justification of the issue, problem, or concern selected for prevention (in this case – violence among
youth as demonstrated in the type and number of incidents – such as escalation in bullying, assault,
homicide, suicide after harassment, etc.);
• an analysis of the evidence-based research related to the intervention(s) or treatment method(s);
• a description of the target population, all identified stakeholders and participants;
• a description of the data collection and analysis methods used for needs assessment (original survey or
questionnaire must be included or described that is a needs assessment for the purpose of identifying areas
of need for violence prevention among youth);
• an explanation of the project goals and how they will be assessed (educating and preventing violence among
youth by reducing aggression, violence, and intolerance);
• an action plan (action plan must be included), including tasks to be implemented;
• an analysis of possible challenges to implementation and how they may be addressed;
• a description of how the project will influence social change
