1.What do you plan to present? I would like to present the difference between palliative care in a home setting compared to palliative care in a hospital setting
2.What form will the presentation be a paper, visual presentation with audio, or a video? I planning to present it as a paper
3.What are your initial views of the assignment? I would like to do a comparison between palliative care between home and hospital setting, which one is more beneficial to the patients, the pros and cons on each setting.
4.What problems do you anticipate while working on this project? Maybe I wont find recent valuable research that has some input that would be helpful for my paper.
Suggestions for Presentation:
For this project, you have the option to present on a wide range of topics. The presentation must match the theme of the conference, The Art of Empathy, which is also the theme of our course. I have offered a few suggestions below.
Subject Review
oan argument which first summarizes stances on a particular subject that is relatable to our theme and then presents a claim
example subjects: empathy in medicine, narrative medicine, healthcare reform, palliative care . . . (These are broad subjects which would not be suited for the brief presentation. Your proposal should state how you will narrow the topic, example: empathy within the emergency room setting.)
