You will be required to interview a professional working in rehabilitation counseling or your own professional practice area regarding the types of ethical issues they find to be prominent in their work, as well as the ethical practices to which they adhere. You should select someone whom you consider to be a positive role model for your own professional practice, as well as someone who would be comfortable in sharing their thoughts with you on this topic. Do not tell, or otherwise reveal, the person’s name to the instructor to preserve maximum confidentiality for any sensitive disclosures that may occur. The interview itself is estimated to take between 30 minutes to an hour. Please check with the instructor before proceeding with this assignment. A typed summary (3 to 4 page) of this interview will be completed and will include information based upon the topic outline sheet that will be provided to you in class.
