Research File (reflective production file). This must contain all research (written as well as visual), technical and project development information, The file must demonstrate a basic understanding of technical theory including F Stops, Aperture Control, ISO, Depth-Of-Field, Exposure and show an understanding of Black & White / Colour Processing and printing. All contact sheets and developmental work eg, tests sheets and lighting diagrams. A conclusion of around 500 word is also required in which you comment on what you have learnt and what could be improved.The syllabus published in the approved unit outline is indicative, not exhaustive; you are

Description
This unit will introduce you to the Schools photographic facilities. Through a
series of set tasks you will study a range of traditional and fundamental image
capture and post-production techniques appropriate to the photographic
industry. These include monochrome and colour processing and printing, the
use of different camera types, studio and location practice, studio and
location lighting, and exposure control. In aIDition, relevant areas of health
and safety policy and practice will be outlined
