A follow-up call is the ultimate signifier that you do not take your customers for granted. It’s important
to remember that even when you believe you have provided the ultimate customer experience to
someone, it does not end with the completion of the transaction. Following up with that person shows
that you care, not just about making sales, but about continuing a relationship. It’s an important
business practice that all businesses should implement.
For Project 9, imagine you are a salesperson for a large automobile dealership and sold 5 SUV’s to a
messenger service. It’s one week after the transaction and you want to follow-up with the customer.
