Philosophy and Metaphysics Rationalists versus Empiricists
one introductory paragraph (where the approximate length and content is that of a full introductory paragraph found in a 5-6 page paper; tell your reader what you are going to do and very explicitly how you are going to do it)
• A structured argumentative outline: make the outline of your argument explicit in a nested outline format with thesis attached
• You must consider a counterargument to your main point, and then explain how you can reply to that argument
• Remember too that your intended audience is a fairly bright individual with no idea what you are talking about (imagine a friend or relative who has never taken a philosophy class); with this sort of audience you must explain, explain, explain: define terms, provide sufficient explanatory information, substantiate your claims, and make all relevant arguments abundantly clear.
May pick any of the selected topics in only Unit III listed in the project guidelines I have attached
Must include all original writing in arguments and information and cite all sources, no plagiarism.
