Slide Amount: 10-25 Slides Presentation Time Requirement: 5-10 minutes Using articles you find in your research, explain how much sleep on average Americans in general and American college students in particular get each night. Identify the effects sleep deprivation has in general on students’ academic performance. Each group member should complete the sleep habits assessment and track their sleep habits for one week.
In the group’s presentation, each member should reflect on their personal current sleep habits by explaining: how many hours of sleep they think they need every night to function at their best. How can they tell? on an average, how many hours of sleep did they get on weeknights? on average, how many hours of sleep did they get on weekend nights?
what gets in the way of them consistently getting enough sleep. changes they can make to their schedule and/or routines that might improve their sleep habits. How does the group rank the importance of sleep compared to other activities like studying, working, spending time with family and friends, and other regular activities. It’s a individual project not a group.
