Answer: Of the five management functions, the one expected to experience the most dramatic changes in the next decade is leading. Given the rapid increase in globalization it is expected that future trends will trigger advances in technology will influence the leading function. Advanced technology will initiate increased Return on Investment and also change the functioning ways of management development in leadership. This will lead to transformational leadership as most leaders will have enthralling visions for better organizational performance. There will be rapid global competition and rising developments in the world of technology which will directly affect leadership as a function of management. The function that will experience the least change is controlling because it will retain the same the process.
