You will write a major paper for this course one module at a time over the course. The paper covers the topic “My Emerging Model of Spiritual Formation.” This paper will expose you to the required readings and viewings in the course as well as other outside materials that you locate.

Writing the paper will develop your writing skills, your APA style usage skills, your ability to think biblically and practically about Christian leadership, and your critical thinking skills regarding the subject of spiritual formation. This particular assignment will prepare you to write your dissertation and equip you to submit acceptable writings for publication.

Instructions

Based upon your previous readings and viewings of PowerPoint and video presentations and of Ecologies of Faith (chs. 7–8) and Networked Theology (chs. 4–6), continue to explore the application and implications of an ecological model of faith formation to current digital realities (1-3 pages). In this final section of your paper, also provide a conclusion (a paragraph) that encapsulates the essence of your emerging model of spiritual formation.

Go through your paper carefully and perform a final edit correcting all previous portions as indicated in the faculty feedback. The student will also review and refine the paper for final submission, making sure that it flows seamlessly from one section to the next with clearly demarcated sub-headings following current APA style. Edit this final portion of your paper for typos, spelling, and grammar, and be sure that you have met the minimum 15 references in your References list and that the formatting of each reference complies with APA style.
