For the final essay, you will work to connect your outside reading novel to other work in this class. Using your novel and at least two other works, connect using three-four themes that connect within women’s literature. Themes may include: motherhood, sexuality, identity, oppression, mental health, suicide, rape, violence, misconceptions, voyeurism, empowerment, and so on. Include an introduction, summarize your novel, then explain the themes, connect the works with support (this section should be several paragraphs), and include a conclusion and Works Cited Page.

The paper should be approximately three-four pages in length (750-1000 words). No additional research is required for this paper, only the novel you read and at least two other works from this class. You may do additional research, but you are not required to. All cited works must adhere to MLA citation formatting

The Presentation
The Presentation is a visual representation of your paper, in shorter form. You can use classic presentation forms like power point slides, or you can use more creative platforms like Prezi, Visme, Haiku Deck, Emaze, Projeqt, Sozi, or even create a video and upload it to YouTube. The presentation will be uploaded into the Discussion Board for your classmates to view. For the presentation, try not to include any spoilers for you novel. The presentation should be about 10-15 slides or sections, or about 3-5 minutes long.
Please respond to 2 students with 5-7 sentence if you agree, disagree or try to either challenge or expand on what it is that they are trying to say to their post and explain why.
