Both Incubation (book “Incubation: A Space for Monsters” by Bhanu Kapil) and Dawn from( the book Lilith’s Brood by Octavia Butler) deal with what “Human” means. How do the texts define “Human?” How do they define “Humanity” and its limits? In what ways are Laloo and Lilith “Human?” How are they not? (Go beyond physicalities.)
