I am requesting your approval to attend a one week course in McGraw Hill University in Montreal. The course will be on management of technological environment and runs from Monday the 5th to Friday the 9th of next month. The total cost of the course is $695, which is inclusive of materials, books, lunch and a guest speaker from industry every lunch hour. The deadline for registrations will be 23rd of this month. I would also like to bring to your attention that registration by telephone is also acceptable.

I consider this course relevant to me as an employee of the company, and am very willing to attend it. If you could remember, last winter I missed a similar opportunity because I was attending to company assignments. By then the company sponsored four engineers to attend.

I would also be glad if the company considers paying my tuition fees, travel costs and lodging. The tuition fee is amounting to $695 that will cater for the whole course. Securing lodging requires $129 for a night. I will need to spend four nights. Concerning travel costs, I suggest that I can use the rental car I use for the project. However it will require some compensation of $34.95 per day for the five days to the company. To enable me attend this course, I also request the company to spare me my task in the IPT project for one week.

Since this course is very relevant to the work I do for the company, I believe that attending it will add value to me and reflect directly to the performance of the company. Since the time remaining to the deadline is short, I am kindly requesting that you consider responding in time for purposes of making the necessary arrangements and registration.
