Human interest paper
Choose a role from one offered below that represents one of our four course modules. Research this topic and write a Human Interest Paper. One must write from a Third (3rd) person perspective, as if interviewing this person and then telling his/her story in light of the struggles of the era they lived in. Make the paper historically relevant and utilize course themes such as violence in American history, race, ethnic, or religious violence, or ethical violence and warfare and the solutions that exist or have been proposed to mitigate violence. You must utilize at least 3 primary sources from the area you select, and at least 5 secondary sources (your texts from the course will count toward this total). At the end of the paper, I should have a very solid grasp on why this person?s contribution to U.S. History is important and should be studied. Paper has to include footnotes and a full bibliography€¦TOPIC: €“ An African American soldier who participated in World War II in Europe and returned to the American South following the war. Write on his experiences in the post war South and his reaction/expectations of treatment after returning from successfully serving his country against Nazi Germany.
