The paper must be an analytical treatment of immigration policies related to the material of Canadian cultural policy, UENSCO, and any other sources that tie in arts and culture for new Canadians. Public policy may be understood as governmental activity legislation, regulations, etc. or by an arms length public body, such as the Canada Council for the Arts. Select one particular arts/heritage discipline or cultural industry as the focus of study; however, this is not an absolute requirement.

– What assets are available to Canadian immigrants

Your paper should involve analysis of some primary sources such as archival material, government and agency reports, lobby group statements, etc. This material can be obtained from web searches or library research, but must be fully documented following MLA prescribed format. Your analysis should lead to a personal conclusion that answers your defined question.
