By most accounts, psychologists seem to agree that needs are not based only in biology, but that recognizing and satisfying psychological needs are equally important to a productive and meaningful life.

    •  Provide an example of a need and explain how the need is shaped by both biology (physical energy) and psychology (physical energy in the form of glucose, the body’s energy source). Explain how biology and psychology play a role in this need.
