Select one cultural group from the Funeral Rituals and Practices among United States Cultural Groups in the Table of the assigned chapter of Bjorklund text and compare it to your own cultural group. First, locate at least one credible website on the Internet to use as a resource and share with the class that focuses on the funeral and grief practices of that particular culture. What are the differences between what you have learned about the practices of this cultural group and that of your own? What specific customs or rituals would you need to be conscious of if working in any given organization with a grieving individual from this cultural group? Describe what you would do to remain respectful of their cultural practices, but also offer condolences if you attended the service. Respond substantively to at least two of your classmates’ posts.
