Foundational legislation, privacy, confidentiality, security, or new initiatives involving nursing informatics (Please any of this topic will be fine)

You are the Nursing Informatics Education Specialist in your facility. Each month you are required to present a topic about foundational legislation, privacy, security, or new initiatives involving nursing informatics. Select a topic and prepare a PowerPoint to discuss your topic with the staff. Guidelines and suggested topics are included below and in the rubric. For the PowerPoint: Create a PowerPoint presentation consisting of 15 (minimum) to 25 (max) slides. Type your actual presentation in the notes section of each slide (what you would say as the slide is shown). The notes section is just below each slide. You will see “click to add notes”. The narrative should be in complete sentences just as if you are giving a speech. Be sure to download the PowerPoint so you can see the notes section) Use at least six (6) scholarly references outside of the textbook and cite them in a reference list on the last slide. You do not need to put citations in text in this assignment. If you are unfamiliar with PowerPoint, there are many instructional resources online. Do not include too much content on each slide. Keep it simple and specific. The discussion piece for each slide is added in the notes section. Use pictures for effect sparingly. Do not add multiple special effects. A slide transition and a design is all you need to keep the audience’s attention. This completed PowerPoint should be submitted to the drop box on Blackboard and also added as an attachment to the discussion board for that week, so your peers can view your work. Please comment on at least one other student’s PowerPoint. Be sure you download your classmate’s PowerPoint as well, so you can see their notes.
