Fan of Barcelona

I am a strong Barcelona club because of the team’s excellent performance and player dedication it is characterized with. Having been introduced to by my father, I have never regretted being part of the bigger family of the club’s fans. I enjoy every bit of game played by Barcelona and the club’s ability to transform the style of soccer. I can always leave everything behind and fully concentrate on the stylish game played by the players. Barcelona’s match is not worth missing because it is a game of its kind with a lot of new footballing ideas prompting out of the very skillful players that exist in the team.

Barcelona Football Club which was founded in 1899 by Joan Gamper when popularity of soccer in Spain started has been called the dream team since 1991. Alongside Athletico Madrid and Real Madrid, Barcelona which is popularity known as the “blaugrana” has never undergone relegation. Being a fan, I support the team’s slogan that asserts that it is more than a club. In 2009, Barcelona became the first club to have won six out of six available competitions in a single year. As a Barcelona fan I take most of my time watching the best team playing. Barcelona celebrates of having the best player in the world, Lionel Messi who plays an excellent kind of football.

Barcelona is currently the best team in the world that enjoys a high class football technique. The club has thousands of supporters around the world because of their quality game. I support the club because of their tikitaka kind of play style that is rarely used by most teams in Europe. The style of play is very attractive and interesting to watch considering that it is executed by highly creative and qualified players such as Xavi Hernandez, Iniesta and Lionell Messi. The club’s players are highly dedicated and this really motivates me as a fan especially when every player gives what it takes in the pitch just to win a match. As a Barcelona fan, every game, despite the strength of the opponent is always good for the club. Barcelona has faced some of the best European clubs such as Real Madrid, Manchester United, Bayern Munich and Arsenal but emerged victorious in most of the meetings.

Barcelona is one of the best youth footballing club and most of her players have been brought up by the club. Almost all the Barcelona players play for their respective national teams implying that they have quality players. The club has done so well in making various youth camps in a number of countries called the FCBEscola system that train group of players and select the best players who travel to Spain and train with the main youth camp. Some of these players normally show very good abilities and skills thus prompting the national teams and the first team to call them up to the first team and become professional footballers.

Barcelona has simplex way of getting goals and their players’ have dribbling peculiarity. While watching Barcelona playing, there are different kinds of dribbling used by the players such as Marseilles roulette, one footed roulette, cow tail, and cross over turn and quick scissor dribble that are only unique to the team.

Being a Barcelona fan comes with a lot of advantages such as the ever winning spirit of the team and the several competitions won every season. No wonder it is the first club to reach 50 million followers on Facebook. This indicates a source of pride and responsibility fans have for the club making it the most popular club in the world. Looking at the history, the achievement and the finance of the club which is popularly known as “Barca” the club is very stable and it has a great future. I support Barcelona because it has turned her slogan into reality and further symbolized hope for freedom. As a fan I feel the concept of freedom still exists and has strongly glued me to the club.

It is also exciting to compare the past classic failures with the current well deserved world class rich and powerful family that currently rock the world football scene. It is undeniable that Barca’s reputation is world class and stands on the highest point in Europe. This greatly increases my passion. It has won and can win any honor both in the local competitions and the UEFA Champions League because of the team’s spirit and quality. Being a Barcelona fan is indeed motivating considering all the achievements it has had in the past including the only European team that has never missed the European Cup team.
