What where the effects of excluding a health insurance provision from the Social Security Act? How could we have changed our future?

Several Americans feel that medical care must be present to each and every citizen. Yet US have been just the wealthy democracy, which does not insure several of their citizens along with Americans pay high health care costs apart from patients in rest of the country.
