·         Fill in brief definitions of each primary ethical theory.

·         Identify alternate names or variations of each ethicalsystembased on your reading of the text and supplemental materials.

·         Match the real-world examples listed below with the corresponding systems. The first one has been completed for you in the table.

·         Develop your own workplace example that fits with each system. Present each workplace scenario in a substantial paragraph of approximately 40 words. Although the table field will expand to accommodate your workplace examples, you may list them at the end of the table; make a note in the table to see the attached examples, however, so your facilitator knows to look for scenarios below the table.

Hi Class,

I am back in the U.S. after 2 weeks in Europe.  I have one more paper to grade and I will post grades  and return papers this afternoon.

 

The assignment for WK 2 can be tricky.In the past I have had students not do well on the paper because they are not paying attention.  Others have done fantastic

 

The definitions:  All the definitions are in your text.  They are not spelled out ( Consequentialism is . . . ) but generally cover a paragraph or a section.  Your job is to reference those sections and cohesively write a definition.  To help your understanding you get to do a matching exercise.  I would do the matching persistence first and then write your definitions.

 

The matching takes some thought ( the purpose of the exercise).  You only need to put the correct letter in the column.

For the examples, you are to give clear specific examples ( easiest is to pull them from current events, that way you can document and it will let you know if you understand the theories.

 

Document your definitions.  They are all in the text and the ERR materials.

 

Note that it states alternative definitions (plural).
