Empirical Literature and Racism Structures for Black Children Discussion

Paper: Your paper will be about some aspect of research related to the development of Black children. You can select a topic of your choice, but make sure the topic is relevant to Black child development. The paper should address the following questions: 1) How is your topic relevant to the development of Black children? ; 2) What do we know in the empirical literature about this topic? ; 3) What are some existing limitations in empirical and theoretical knowledge on this topic? ; 4) What are the next steps needed to address this issue, including how you might address the limitations? Students are encouraged to discuss your topic with you instructor before writing your paper. Papers must have recent, relevant, empirical research from peer reviewed academic journals. You must use at least 6 peer-reviewed journal articles as references. Your paper should be a minimum of 8 pages and no longer than 10 pages. The page count does not include the title page, abstract, and reference page. Your paper should be written using the most current APA format. The paper is due on November 5 by11pm. Late papers will not be accepted.
