Based on the survey conducted in research where seven categories were included namely the procedural justice, legitimacy of the police department, community policing, police bias, perception of law, and cooperation and relatability with the law enforcement, the respondents’ point of view of the police are negative (Lavigne & Fonaine, 2017). It is also revealed in the survey that most respondents still have a strong belief in law and are willing to cooperate with the police. This finding only suggests that repairing the relationship and trust of the constituents with the members of the police force can still be achieved (Lavigne & Fonaine, 2017).
