Terrestrial Ecosystem: this is on other cases known as land ecosystem. This means that the organisms are able to interact with land. An example of terrestrial ecosystems is the land we live in.

Aquatic Ecosystem: This is sometimes called the water ecosystem; sea, ocean and lakes are example of this ecosystem.

Natural Ecosystem: This is also called God Made ecosystem. It existed before man and man has not played part in its existence. Examples of Natural ecosystem is natural Forrest, lakes amid others.

Artificial Ecosystem: Also known as manmade ecosystem. This means that made has played part in coming up with this type of ecosystem. Example of this type ecosystem is manmade forest and manmade lakes.

Explain the 4 categories of consumers in an ecosystem and the role that each plays.

An ecosystem possesses has both biotic (living) and abiotic non-living segments. The abiotic segments incorporate soil, water, light, inorganic supplements and climate. The biotic parts of the biological system can be sorted as either producers or consumers. Makers are autotrophic life forms with the capacity of doing photosynthesis and making nourishment themselves, and by implication for alternate living beings too. In physical biological systems the makers are prevalently green plants, while in freshwater and marine environments the prevailing makers are different types of green growth. Consumers are heterotrophic creatures that utilized nourishment that has as of now been performed by different life forms. One of the environmental issues that affects the UAE is the issue of waste management. There has been high increase of waste all over the country (Zaman & Lehmann, 2011). The culture of the people has not been on the eve of protecting the environment when it comes to waste management. People through waste all over the country causing high risks of disease amid other issues. The risk has caused government to come up with national programs and commissions that could reduce ways to solve this environmental problem. For example, the government has encouraged recycling of waste products and it funding both private and public organization as well as individuals to come up with such an outstanding project. The people have also come on board in order to solve the problem by having proper management of waste such as having house to house collection of waste.

Give your own recommendations as to how it should have been addressed without harming any person or any organisms.

One of the best way to ensure that waste is managed in the UAE is by first developing a culture of waste management. The other recommendation is to ensure that the recycling plants are brought close to the people so that disposal of waste to them cannot be a problem. Last is conducting an advocacy program that informs the people that waste management is an important factor and the impacts of poor waste management is harsh (Moore, 2010).

Individual reflection

The group had only 5 members on board. The group was able to host more than 10 meeting with i attended all of the as I was the leader of the group. I was the one mandated to analyse the information and write the report. The most interesting part of the team work was during the development of information, however, I did not like planning aspect of the group. I noted how to manage waste thanks to the group work.
